On October 6th, 2013, our staff and our families participated in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes and we had a blast! We partnered with local businesses to raise funds to help find a cure for juvenile diabetes and we look forward to supporting JDRF again in the future. We work with the Ounce of Prevention Fund to provide dental care for children in need around the greater Chicago area. You can visit ounceofprevention.org for more information on the services that Ounce of Prevention and Head Start provide.
We offer free dental hygiene presentations for any preschool or kindergarten classrooms that would like to learn more about visiting the dentist and taking care of our teeth at home. At the end of each presentation, every student receives a free goodie bag that includes a toothbrush, some toothpaste, a toy, and more! If you are an educator and would like to schedule a presentation at your school, please contact either of our offices!
On May 18th, 2014, our staff and families will be participating in the Lurie Children’s Hospital Move for the Kids 5K Run/Walk!
